Challenge:
A leading provider of telecommunication networks wanted and needed to develop a new maintenance and operating system for the digital switching system (fixed network, mobile) on a new plattform/techology.

Project:
The project core tem has been starting with a new architectur and a fundamentally new design. The new windows-based system was developed by a distributed team (near-shore, off-shore). The first version, single machine based, was available for a pilot customer after 15 month, 9 month later the client-/server-solution was ready for world-market rollout. The new system in the following years have been the basis for the succes of the switchng system and brought a lot of revenue by itself. After about one year from the beginning the devleopment team had a stable size of about 200 engineers.

Challenge:
Under the lead of a tier-1 telecom providera complete new telecommunications network has been build up. Therefore also a new operationg concept and a management system (OSS/BSS) had to be developed.

Projekt:
For the OSS/BSS conecpt best-in-class market prooved producsts has been used, missing components and applications were newly developed.A local core-team was responsible for the coordination and customer acceptance. A local development team together with distributed expert-teams implemented the new system components. The network was rolled out on-time, with the new OSS/BSS system the operations was ensured too.

Challenge:
A supplier of telecommunication networks wanted to provide operations- and business-management solutions for their global customers from an own CoC. Goal was to ramp-up a team which could develop and roll-out such solutions.

Project:
Some of the services and products has been selected as best-in-class from market leaders. According to the requirements a distributed team has been ramped-up to form the gloabl CoC (Center-of-Competence). By specific trainings and adding top-experts a powerful team of about 150 engineers has been created. The customer, the network supplier, integrated the team into its organisation and was able to ensure the core business. This was an example of BOT (Build – Operate – Transfer).

Challenge:
A digital communcations agency supports brands and enterprices based on social media and entertainment to create publicity – a campaign needed to be developed and executed.

Project:
Participants could daily gain an iPad Mini. To get one a code needed to be generated. The code has been on the product, a cup of Caffe latte, or was to create online. The campaign ran over 15 weeks in 8 european countries and was a great success. The R&D team developed the Web-Site in very short timeframe and after that it was online 24×7. The result: 140.000 participants, 1.000.000 code – 40% web generated – and 4.000.00 Web-Site visits. And at the end a satisfied customer.

Challenge:
A mid-sized austrian bank has been expanding over the border. Based on local laws new IT- and buisness-processes needed to be implemented.

Project:
A core team of our own finance division took responsibilty to develp and design of a new IT concept. The core banking software has been developed and the entire IT Infrastructure was refined as well as cross-border-payment, reporting local and HQ management, e-banking, bank accounting, SAP integration and HQ applications. Maintenance of IT has been taken over based on a long-term service agreement. Currently about 15 engineers are in charge of maintenance a implementing new features.

Challenge:
For a NHSC (National Health Service center) in a CEE country an effiecient and transparent procurement portal was required which – for sure – fullfills local and EC laws.

Project:
The project was about planning, requirement management, procurement and order management, management procedures, document management and business intelligence. Local laws as well as EC rules were fullfilled completely. Frontend, backend and dynamic procurement processe have been handed over to the customer and further maintained based on a service agreement. The system is to rolled out into other public organisations.

Challenge:
A global operating, very successfull italian food producer was forced to improve their whole logistic chain and to optimise the complete infrastructure.

Project:
With Sherlogic, a very new technology for monitoring processes and technical equipment, cost could be saved tremendously to about 50%. Starting point have been the already available data including those generated from the existing sensors. After one month significant results could be met. Throughout correlation rules very different components could be integrated like IT HW/SW, applications, data centers, engines and machines, processes, etc. data could be generated and evaluated which can foresee upcoming downtime. A very, very valuable benefit.

Challenge:
It was to introduce a country specific solution in order to a gloabl telecommunication company to ensure that all internet gateways of their customers operate properly.

Project:
The implemented Xperience-Home-Gateway-Solution proves and monitors all multi-end-2-end connections of the clients of our customer. The service quality level is very high, it is to enure commuication services and business processes of their coporate customers. Therefore QoS (Quality-of-Service) data are taken via so called probes from the gateways and sent to a backend system for evaluation. SLA’s (Service-Level-Agreements) can be monitored, fullfilled and ensured, all data can be verified.
